Top 3 Wolf3D Ports
The classic point-and-shoot Wolfenstein 3D has been ported to many platforms. These are the top 3 ports of the game, based on ease of access and faithfulness to the real game.
I haven't played this port myself, but based on what I've heard, it's extremely true to the real game and fairly easy to find. More will come on this when I play it!
Found here, this version of Wolf3D is amazing. Not only does it use an entirely unique method of 3D rendering, it also has quite responsive controls. However, it only has one level (E1F1) and is prone to lag, a disadvantage of Scratch's block-based coding. It's a great tool for having as practice for Wolf3D speedruns (it's where I got a time of 47 seconds on E1F1).
This funny reskin of Wolf3D introduced me to…

Digestive system
The energy required for all the processes and activities that take place in our bodies is derived from the foods we ingest. The digestive system allows us to utilize food from such diverse sources as meat from an animal and the roots of a plant, and utilize them as an energy source. Whether it is the ability to coordinate the chewing of the food without injuring our tongue and lips or the propulsion of the food from the stomach into the duodenum while releasing the appropriate enzymes, our digestive system allows us to manage the process without much thought and often while performing other tasks.

Top 15 Games Like Doom (Games Better Than Doom In Their Own Way)
In many ways Wolfenstein and Doom are two halves of the FPS blueprint—both breaking ground in the genre and the world of video games in general.
Now, over two decades later, both series have returned and—by calling back to gameplay elements that were abandoned by most shooters—these reboots have once again revitalized the genre.
This article is framed around DOOM, but features Wolfenstein prominently. It focuses on the way the 'shooter' format has evolved, in some cases using the influence of the classics to forge new paths, while others contribute to the return-to-form trend. Either way, all are worth checking out:
Fake informations about 1945 in Adolf Hitler (MachineGames) biography?
In Machine Games universe is never mentioned that in 1945 B.J. was in castle Wolfenstein and killed there Hans Grosse and later has encounter with Hitler. Also, the name of guy that was trying to kill Hitler and then was hanged is uknow so he wasn't for 100% Blazkowicz. Yes, Hitler in New Colossus is saing that "he destroyed B.J." and yes, in this article is mentioned that these informations can be just Hitler's propaganda or bad memory, but only thing that he mentioned is just that "he destroed B.J" and nothing else. He didn't said when and where this was taking place and any details about it. Also, with that quote he may be only referring to the Nazis as a whole that they "killed" Blazkowicz. So, we can move informations about hanging Hi…
Conspiracies/alternate realities
Hello everyone! I recently have viewed an image that got me thinking, what if the main guy (biggest, middle) is actually Wilhelm "Deathshead" Strasse? According to the MachinegGames series, Deathshead was actually the one who led the Nazis to victory! What if Strasse actually was the main leader of the Nazis and that Adolf Hitler was simply some sort of puppet ruler?
Post your responses below and also share your own conspiracies or alternate universes!
Time travel in Wolfenstein 3
I was wondering how all the Wolfenstein games (with the exception of the muse games) could be reconciled into one canon. As we know, in the classic series, B.J kills Hitler and ends the war, yet come the New Order, Hitler is still alive and the Nazis have won. A highly unlikely but novel way to do this would be to introduce time travel into Wolfenstein III: The New Game and have B.J and friends travel back in time to Wolfenstein 3D and kill Hitler there, ending the war and keeping to the original series. And so thus, Wolfenstein 3 becomes Wolfenstein 3D.
I know, it sounds preposterous and I sincerely hope it doesn't happen but what does everyone else think?
The Deep Review
Well read the graphic novel volume #1 for Wolfenstein reboot series. I thought artwise it wasn't bad... however I couldn'st stand the 'censorship' no Swastikas, no direct references to Nazis, the use of the "Regime' instead, yet Himmler is still mentioned? Seemed out of place.
Seems we have yet another mythology for Thule race/Atlanteans. Seemed very HP Lovecraftian. The people liiving near hte sea had a very fish look to them as well. Makes me wonder if they worshiped the Dagon wannabe creaure in the story.
The creatures Thule or some kind of old gods were interesting looking thuough. It was never clear if they were actual Thule or some kind of ancient aliens, but the story mostly avoided true 'supernatural' despite it referencing SS Parano…
Who's your favorite Wolfenstein character?
Personally, my favorite is either Blazko or Fergus. Fergus has lines that are only amplified, and sometimes made humorous, by his accent. Blazko looks death in the face and says, "Not yet. I've got some living left to do."

New weapons in the trailers of upcoming "The New Collossus"
I've watched all the trailers of new Wolfenstein game "The New Collossus". Judging from my watches, I'm listing new and returning weapons:
1-)Machinepistole (Saw during BJ's escape from Eva's Hammer)
2-)Assault Rifle (1961 version)
3-)Hatchet
4-)Handgun 1960 (from The New Order)
Bad Grammar
It's a real shame to see articles with such bad grammar as this one. Seriously, who puts normal words like "brutally" with a capital letter halfway through a sentence... does no-one proof read this stuff. I'm not saying we shouldn't stop people from editing the wiki but at least allow people who are skilled at the language "English" edit articles on an "English" wiki.
We need more help to maintain this wiki
Hello wikia users and friends of the Wolfenstein Wiki. For the past few days, I (with the help of some of the admins) and some others, have been trying to polish this wiki up like removing un-needed sentences, correcting grammar and spelling, adding pages etc. The problem is, we don't have enough people to do it. If you would like to help this wiki, then please don't hesitate to do so.
It is only me or...?
Is it me or Wolfenstein wikia seems to be kinda dead? I mean look at article time:edit ratio and quality of articlles itself... jeez... I wonder where I could find visit stasistics.
Ah, also I can't wait of The Old Blood, shame it aren't going to be released on 360 but atleast my laptop can run such games...
Jimi Hendrix?
Now I don't quite know how many of you have played The New Order, so maybe spoilers? Is J in the Kreisau Circle Headquarters Jimi Hendrix? Jimi Hendrix was alive at this point and both him and J are left-handed guitar players. It would be pretty damn cool.
Wolfenstein: The New Order Review Roundup
Wolfenstein: The New Order is a first-person shooter video game developed by MachineGames and published by Bethesda Softworks. It was released on May 20, 2014 for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows. The New Order serves as the first Wolfenstein game since the 2009 Wolfenstein. This time around, William "B.J." Blazkowicz is tasked with launching a counter-offensive against the Nazi powers that have overtaken the world.
The New Order was released today and the reviews are in! What did you think of the Wolfenstein: The New Order? Let us know in the comments!
No middling reviews of Wolfenstein: The New Order have been received yet.
The New Order released!
Guten Tag!
So, it's past midnight now, and I can only suppose that means that Wolfenstein: The New Order is officially released. Metacritic indicates that it's a good game, but I'm afraid that my current economic situation isn't the best (got in some trouble with the long arm of the law), so I might not be able to enjoy it for some time. Maybe I'll wait for the special edition - oh wait that already happened.
I've been busy with reading - you know, books - and Community Central, so I might not have time to edit a lot, but I'll try to check in.
Get Psyched!
Inactive... for now
Hello to fellow contributors of this wiki
Until the release of Wolfenstein: The New Order, I will be away and inactive.
Don't block me yet, there are reasons for that. First, I am in a pretty important year of my life, the collage is pretty cruel this semester, they throw a lot of demands and have two mid-term exams and a final exam that will play a big factor in pass or fail. Needless to say, I will spend more time on my school and less time here.
Second, due to the increased pressure, I will spend less time playing games, including the Wolfenstein series; plus I have a "Project Origin" on the way in F.E.A.R. wiki, so I have to be inactive in some wikis.
Finally, I also edit on 7 more wikis, a little edit everyday, because I can only spend 30…

Last week, Jorge and I sat down with the first few hours of MachineGames' Wolfenstein reboot, Wolfenstein: The New Order, making our way through a variety of war-torn locales teeming with mechanized dogs, enormous robots, and Nazis. Lots of Nazis. Keep reading for more information about what we played!
The game takes place during an alternate 1960s in which the Nazis won World War II. The story opens in an airplane over the Baltic Sea. The crew is headed to Deathshead's compound, a labyrinth-like fortress on the coast, to investigate rumblings of illegal genetic augmentation being conducted on war prisone…

Advance tech in New Order
Some of you might be wondering how it's possible for the Nazis to have tech in the 60s we don't have today. If you're one of those people I have two theories. First off they may have concetrated their effort towards the war effort so while they have robots, maybe cyborgs too, they might not have some tech that the real world already had in the 60s. Also as most people know, but some may not, the nazi's were never shy about testing stuff on people which was done on people in concentration camps among other places. It's possible that with robotics, and even more likly with cybernetics, this allowed them to invent and perfect it much faster then in the real world.
If you have any other theories feel free to post them. I know most of you alread…

Universal CSS classes
Hey, it's Elecbullet. I've recently been working on some universal classes for the wiki: that is, a set of CSS styles that are easily and uniformly applied to anything on the site. This is a work in progress: I'll try to keep it updated with any additional universal classes that I create.
- 1 Organizational schemes
- 1.1 Infobox
- 1.2 Navbox
- 2 Color schemes
- 2.1 Wolfenstein 3D
- 2.2 Return to Castle Wolfenstein
- 2.3 Wolfenstein
- 3 Applying the classes
The infobox
class easily organizes data into infobox format without any additional styling. Without a color scheme declared, it defaults to the navbox/infobox default color scheme.

Hey, I know if anyone still playing the game, just write in. I will be very appreciate.
Thanks you.
French Wolfenstein Wiki!
Dear Wolfensteiners,
As you may or may not yet have noticed, I have started a French Wolfenstein Wiki! I did this in order for our French, Quebecian and other native French-speaking friends to save time trying to understand the English pages. Not being a native English speaker, I can tell from my own experience that it remains a lot easier to read in your own language, no matter what your level at English is.
However, I wouldn't be writing this blog post if that was all I had to say. As French is my second language and I have become more fluent at English than French throughout time, I will need help with this project. Also, due to this not being the only thing in my life I am busy with, I am in a great lack of time to contribute more than a…
New Wolfenstein game
http://www.cdaction.pl/news-30794/wolfenstein-nowa-czesc-od-tworcow-kronik-riddicka.html
While surfing the Enemy Territory forums I found an interesting information about future of Wolfenstein series. What I found was just amazing. It says that we can have new Wolfenstein this year! Game has to be made by MachineGames, same people which was responsible for Chronicles of Riddick game, which was very good. Some can say that Wolfenstein should only be done by id software but I think it has potential. Composer Julian Beeston wrote on his page that he was working on dialogues for the new Wolfenstein. Earlier leaks says that this new game could be entitled Project Tungsten. Such a great news! And also movie is coming!
I finally got Wolfenstein
So, yesterday in the mail I got a package. It was Wolfenstein! At long last, I finally have a game which I theoretically should have gotten ages ago! We'll see how it turns out.
On a side note, I'd have had it months ago if it were still available on Steam. Conblast it!
The Ends of our Worlds
As gamers, we have tasted the end of the world many times and in many different forms - demonic/alien invasions, global wars, resonance cascades, zombie outbreaks and more...
The strongest of all these is probably the Second World War that the Wolfenstein series are based on - strongest because it actually happened for real.
For many people it really was the end of the world as they knew it. States were dissolved, new ones emerged, and some were permanently changed.
Southeast Europe suffered heavily, as the Soviet army installed brutal communist regimes in its passing through many countries. Germany itself was beaten, humiliated and eventually split into two parts, with the wall between them becoming the symbol of the new world order. Out of …

Treasure & Symbolism in Wolfenstein
Today I got inspiration for a long (you have been warned!) and more in-depth blog post. We are going to talk about the treasures of Wolfenstein and their underlying symbolic meanings. And, of course, we'll begin with the classic Wolfenstein 3D.
The Cross is an obvious Christian symbol, yet it can also have a rather creepy interpretation - for every cross you see in the game, there is one church that the Nazis plundered. They aren't exactly the kind of people who would ask politely...
There are several special cases of Cross occurrences in the game and the most notable of them is E2L10 - there is a long Cross-filled corridor culminating with a Cross-filled room. In other episodes this could have been just another treasure hoard, but this is Cast…
What you want to see in the upcoming Wolfenstein movie?
Tell us what you want to see in the upcoming Wolfenstein movie. Tell us about your expectations, your take on the story, locations, technology, characters or other things.
My expectations:
- BJ. I want him to be just like in RTCW, well-built, smart and brave.
-Castle Wolfenstein. I dont want the whole story going about castle but just to be shown to us on the screen.
-Show us some multiplayer or Enemy Territory like action. Busy medics, planting dynamites, destroying bridges, artillery barrages, airstrikes etc.
-Horrific creations of nazi experiments. Super soldiers or something different.
-Occult themes.
-Secret nazi projects like Landkreuzer, Horten Ho.
-Spear of Destiny maybe?
-Some great antagonist.
-Weapons we all love. Panzerfaust, Venom Gun, …
Your favorite in-game environments
I am opening the Blog season with the topic of in-game environments and the atmosphere they create.
What are your favorites?
In the classic Wolf, I enjoy two environments most and, curiously, they are opposites. One is the neat and well-decorated rooms with wooden walls. It feels so warm and cozy in there that you can almost forget you are inside a Nazi fortress. The other theme I enjoy is the creepy one - especially the levels with purple walls (like Episode 1's awesome secret level). The entire Episode 2 has an ominous feel - Wolfenstein at its best.
I suppose I like these contradicting themes because they reflect the extremes of Nazi nature - from stylish opulence and luxury... to inhuman cruelty and evil.
Regarding the Lost Episodes, I enj…
New Monobook Skin
On September 3, 2012, a new Wolfenstein 2009 themed skin was applied for the Monobook theme of the Wolfenstein Wiki. I, Elecbullet, designed the new skin. Previously, I'd developed a skin back when Wikia still used Monaco (Those were the days...).
I'd like some feedback on the new skin, comments, suggestions, pages that look nasty under it. Let me know in any comments on this post. for this article. Or feel free to customize if you've got the skills for that. Remember to make sure pages on Wolfenstein Wiki are usable under the Oasis (default) skin. To check this, paste "?useskin=oasis" onto the end of any page's URL.
To do:
- Fix any apparent inadequacies in the new skin
- Revise
- Check for broken pages and templates
- Test with various browsers

New Achievements
Hello! I'm User:Elecbullet, an administrator here at the Wolfenstein Wiki, and I recently undertook an effort to rejuvenate the Achievement system for the Wolfenstein Wiki!
All default achievements come with default generic names and default generic icons. I created clever names and icons for all the icons on the associated wiki page, but there are many more to be done. I'd appreciate some feedback on what should be done next here!
I am aware that I made many changes to the Achievement system without consulting anyone. However, I feel that it was an improvement, as we went from dozens of generic Achievements to dozens of Wolfenstein related Achievements. I'd hope that you'd all agree with me on that, if not, I can easily revert back to the defaul…
New source code citation templates
New templates have been added for citing the source code of the Wolfenstein games. They are:
- Template:Wolf3D source
- Template:RtCW-SP source
- Template:RtCW-MP source
- Template:Enemy Territory source
There is also the more general Template:Source code citation but that is not recommended for general use. Use instead the four above.
The new templates now make it possible to prove technical details about the games when a link to a manual or website would not suffice.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein Walkthrough
Hello guys! I made a RTCW video walkthrough. In places, I have used some strange tactics and methods just to show people some original methods. I also have started (and will finish now that I have the time) a walkthrough on a pretty nice Mod I saw. Enjoy: The Playlist:

Quite a basic overview of the fight, but it's decent enough for how to kill him.
Still an incredibly difficult boss, though.
