Deathshead's Commando (German: Totenkopf's Kommando) is an elite enemy in Wolfenstein: The New Order.
Description[]
History[]
Deathshead's Commandos likely organized as a successor or an auxiliary unit to the Deathshead's Compound Waffen-SS soldiers sometime after the Great War.
Escaping the facility catatonic, B. J. Blazkowicz first encounters them in 1960 in the nearby Maławieś Psychiatric Hospital where they had to cleanse the building of the "undesirable" patients. He fights them multiple times, presumably destroying the majority with the nuclear explosion of the Kreisau Circle Deathshead's Compound raid.
Combat Tactics[]
Deathshead's Commandos act like regular Soldiers with same strengths and weaknesses, albeit are better armoured.
Commandos use the Sturmgewehr 60; the 1960 Maławieś asylum raid party used the Pistole 60 for executions.
Strengths[]
- Deathshead's Commandos have extra armour that allows them to tank more damage.
Trivia[]
- All Deathshead's Commandos have the same decal on the armour: "C3501 7521".
- Their helmets cannot be taken nor shot off.
- All Deathshead's Commandos are anonymous except Yurgen – P 60 wielding, unmasked Commando killed by B. J. with the knife in the hospital.
