"Hey, Blazkowicz. Übercommander Heinrich Müller should be somewhere in the subway tunnels. Find him and put him in the ground. Grace out."
―Grace to B.J. on Müller.[src]

Oberführer Heinrich Müller is a minor antagonist and enemy in Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus.

Biography[]

Before 1961[]

He was a decorated officer for his heroism during the battle of Chengdu in 1947. He was also known to have lead the assault on Idaho Falls, where he successfully killed 31 American resistance fighters and captured 21. He also led a 3-year campaign in Death Valley which earned him great respect from the Nazi high command.

Assassination[]

"Good work, Blazkowicz. One less Übercommander to worry about. Come on home, man. Grace out."
―Grace to B.J. upon Heinrich's death.[src]

Müller and his men have been assigned by General Engel to patrol the subway tunnels underneath the ruins of Manhattan, ostensibly to search for any hostile combatants who might still be hiding there, since even before the destruction of Area 52. However, Müller and his men have found nothing after many repeated patrols, and he believes that his current assignment is a punishment for some mistake he has made. He hopes for General Engel to reconsider his punishment, not for him "but for the men under [his] command."

He is killed by B.J. in the Manhattan subway tunnels, being the first Übercommander to be killed by Blazkowicz, and beginning of the collapse of the Nazi leadership in America.

Trivia[]

  • He shares the same name as 2 real members of the Nazi party, one of whom was the chief of the Gestapo 1939-45. The other being an Oberstgruppenfuhrer in the Schutzstaffel. However the character is fifteen years younger than the former and bears little physical resemblance, so he is more likely to be a fictitious portrayal of the latter.
