:Currently, we have a bunch of articles with the suffix "WOLF 2009", an example being Wehrmacht soldier (WOLF 2009). That doesn't seem very professional. I'm considering changing all suffixes to just Wolfenstein, but that might be too broad a term. Other ideas have been "Wolf2009" and "Wolf2K9", but I feel those would be my own created terms and not fair.

:That's why I used the current suffix. The other options look in my opinion awful and clunky. Originally all of the website would have different suffixes for the games if something came up with the same name in all of the games but had different properties (i.e. Wolf 2009, RtCW, Wolf 3D etc). Wolf 2009 looked good. Wolf 2k9 looks Maddonish, and Wolfenstein is just to broad I agree. For now I think we should stay with Wolf 2009.--Kingclyde (talk) 06:24, August 21, 2012 (UTC)

Panzerschreck

Panzerschreck was not a "renamed Panzerfaust", but a different weapon with a similar purpose.

"The major differences to the Panzerfaust were the size and the fact that the Panzerschreck by design was to be a reloading weapon, preferrably crew served by trained and dedicated two-man AT teams (gunner and loader), while the Panzerfaust was a single-use, disposable close range one-man weapon for use by everybody."

Thanks, I honestly did not know they were two different weapons. I saw that, yes, it had a graphic overhaul, but I chalked that up to the overhaul most weapons got.

Error

I've got a problem with Wolfenstein. I have played throughout the entire game with hardly a single glitch. My drivers are up to date as far as I know, my disk drive has been cleaned and defragmented, and the Wolfenstein disk itself is in good condition, clear of dust and without scratches. I'm running on Windows XP. Here are the details:

SYSTEM DETAILS:

Display Drivers: Nvidia PhysX 9.10.0129, Nvidia Geforce, DirectX

Free Disk Space: 43.50 GB

System: Windows XP x82

GAME DETAILS:

Size: 6.05 GB

Level Progression: 83%

Collected: Intel; 7/8 Gold; 18/21 Tomes; 0/0

Problem Encountered: 3 thirds of the way though the loading screen to Zeppelin, application 'Wolf2' freezes briefly before crashing. Game is immediately aborted.

Error Message: 'Wolf2 has encountered a problem and needs to close. Please tell Microsoft about this problem.'

Last Checkpoint: Airfield East Checkpoint; This checkpoint is reached when ascending the stairs that lead to the control room in which can be found the lever which lowers the walkway leading to the Zeppelin level.

Please help me out if you know a solution. I know that several players have experienced this problem before. (196.25.255.210 18:24, July 17, 2010 (UTC))

I would update direct X to the latest version and verify that you do indeed have the latest drivers. --Kingclyde 22:17, July 17, 2010 (UTC)

Wolfenstein (2009)

If you think about it, since the first game was Wolfenstein 3D this is actually the only game in the series called Wolfenstein. The title's rather inaccurate, though, given Castle Wolfenstein isn't actually in the game at all. Evil Tim 09:06, April 16, 2012 (UTC)

I have considered naming schemes for this game.
Currently, we have a bunch of articles with the suffix "WOLF 2009", an example being Wehrmacht soldier (WOLF 2009). That doesn't seem very professional. I'm considering changing all suffixes to just Wolfenstein, but that might be too broad a term. Other ideas have been "Wolf2009" and "Wolf2K9", but I feel those would be my own created terms and not fair.

Zeppelin crashes

Zeppelin crashes into an unknown castle.

Not much point having it on the main page for the game given that's the ending.
