Its no longer set in WW2, so I don't know what to expect.
The developers made a risky move forward, but I belive its a good thing to give some freshness to Wolfenstein universe.
I can't wait to buy it!
I think it's a good move to move the game to after WWII. All the other Wolf games have been WWII as well as plenty of other games. So I think it's a good idea to do something new like that even more so after the disaster of the ast Wolfenstein game.
I am sure, that the story is probably Inspirated by Fatherland. A friction book mention about what if the Axis have won the war.
The similarities with Fatherland are:
"What if Hitler won?" is a fairly common trope in itself, so we can't immediately claim that there is a connection with this particular book unless there is more of a connection (if there is more connection, please tell me.)
With this new game, I'm going to have to step it up regarding verifiability. We cannot speculate regarding this serious subject (and we should try not to speculate in general).
I was thinking the same thing Elecbullet, it's not that uncomon of a story where any battle in history is told where the other side won then what happened in the real world, it's not confined to WWII.
Nazi-Mechs, Roboddogs, and SS-With Laserguns? This is pure Wolfenstein and it is going to be epic! :D
Wow!
